It is with great sadness that I announce the depature of two very loved members of "Wanted".
First, Joe Geary has been our lead guitarist throughout our History and has been responsible for our unique sound and success. Joe is expecting his first child in September with his wife, Erin. He has also purchased his first home and expects to settle at the end of May. He has decided that his plate is full enough and would like a breather from the very taxing band schedule.
Second, Billy Case, our drummer, has decided to hang up his drum sticks for private, personal reasons. As we are very saddened to see him depart, we wish him well and support his decision as it will certainly improve his quality of life to not spend so many long hours and nights away from home.
As luck would have it, we decided to take the Summer off from the bar and club scene, and concentrate on writing and those special gigs, such as the Anniversary Show for WXTU. It seems that we'll be spending that time working with 2 new members of "Wanted".
As we look for replacements for Joe and Bill, we hope you join us in making noise with them both for the last few times at our upcoming gigs, including this weekend at 38 West. I hope you all remember how much fun we all have had over the last few years and show the the love and support that they have showed us all.
